Welcome to Existence:

  Slowly but surely the system is collapsing around us.  The only way to get things done is to roll up your sleeves and do them.  The pictures, description and accounts of our local projects have been set forth in a manner that should allow us to develop new ways of dealing with each other.

  Now that Labor Day has passed, the terms of Existence are changing.  Dr. Lenny Thyme will continue to provide information on the things happening in the survival arena.  He will be working with Barnyard at Schoolhouse Earth and continuing the Garden Harvest with the RED Earth Descendents, and creating with cloth with KelleyGreen .  In addition, there will be classes on Water and Carbon offered at the Northwest Education and Training Institute.

  The terms of Existence are simple - read and make comments.  The earth changes that are happening are well beyond the human sphere of control - we should plan for extreme weather by planting food and building community.  We ought to develop dozens of sites where we can grow real food, fuel, cloth and herbs - while teaching each other  through our virtual skills network sites.

  Imagine if the temperature continues to rise?  What will be the sea level when the ice caps are all melted?  What would you do if there were no jobs and everybody had all their time to spend on whatever they wanted to do?  Let's have fun building this virtual community, while we think through the changes that are coming at us, fast and furious.
