- Who are we?
We are individual that are fed up with the way things have been presented, taking our rights and responsibilities into our own hands. Sovereigns are encouraged to obey the existing legal restraints of the current illegal state regime, in order to remain off the radar screen while functioning as sovereign, until enough self-protection methodology has been developed.
- What is it all about?
Our local goal as sovereigns is to set up a mentoring, hands-up workforce development system that places value in the hands of students that apply themselves. It also rewards the mentors with a workforce to implement ideas in support of heart-song tasks. Skills would focus on building spaces of love where skills in home construction, cloth and clothing skills, alternative energy, water collection, animal husbandry and food growth combine with learning about time and space with healthy livability practices, personal economics, spirituality and potential income generation.
- Concepts:
- Eco-Community
Eco-community is about living together in a manner that appreciates the stewardship of the earth. Each person brings a different perspective that can be shared as learning and teaching experience. Striving for sustainable practices that foster life on earth is the purpose in developing this ecology driven approach.
- Clean Water
Fresh Water is in limited supply on the earth. Most water comes from the ocean and has large amounts of dissolved salts. Protecting our clean water supplies is crucial to maintaining a healthy habitat. To measure water quality, we will use a variety of chemical and biological methods. This includes physical parameters like pH, turbidity and salinity, and also biological counts of macro-invertebrates (bugs) and coliforms counts.
- Fresh Air
Breathing fresh air is a pleasure unknown to countless urban generations. The filtering mechanisms, lichens, mosses, forbs, shrubs and trees, that produce clean air will be discussed as to how each role is symbiotic with others to create functional climax ecosystems.
- Permaculture
This topic combines sustainable practices with living population dynamics. As the earth changes come, these techniques will leave a lessened footprint on the land and help to support a strong diversity of species. The practices of organic agriculture, with reduced impact from chemical pesticides and fertilizers form the basis for our methodology.
- Food
Starting seeds now will enable a full growing season for this summer’s crop. Choosing the proper mix of food items will give you enough to allow some of the stock to go for seed harvest while the rest gets eaten or traded. Be sure that both the weather and the ground temperature are warm enough before transplanting young plants.
- Fiber
Growing fiber is very different from growing food. It takes fields of growing fiber to have enough to create clothing. Flax used to be the major source of linen, now mostly cotton is used for cloth making. There is a major need to be able to establish local fiber based economy, before access to fibers are limited by transportation costs. Hemp is another major fiber source to be developed within our community structure.
- Construction
There are some strong, lightweight ceramic materials that are being developed to allow us to build permanent structures in a very short period of time. Current building methods approved in the USA do not allow for light construction without jumping through legality – planning commissions and building departments dominate. However, if it comes down to being out there with nothing, we many see these silo domes in more locations around the world, including here.
- Staves
Staves are the curved boards that are used for construction of barrels. Here the idea is to create a silo building from staves that can be used as a home, a barn, a storage facility, a cistern, and many other simple building forms. The stave would be cast from lightweight materials using a cast mold form included with the building POD.
- Raised Beds
A sacred geometry based pyramidal raised based has been designed to grow food crops in places where there is limited space. The beds snap together to allow creation of a garden motif in urban areas, using compost based growth media.
- Flow forms
Flowing water is energized to living water in a flow form peace fountain designed by one of our sovereign members using the principles of sacred geometry. Having several different size pools, the peace fountain can be used to enhance the growth of the gardens and bring joy to the people in our community.
- Enhanced Soil
Building up the topsoil is one of the keys to establishing long-term harmony between people and the environment. This involves allowing organic material to build up in the system rather than removing it for alternative uses.
- Micro-nutrients
While many fertilizers enhance nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, trace elements are required to give plants their nutritional value. Various transition metal elements are required for proper enzyme function in plants and animals.
- Composts
Composts are blends of organic materials, soil and manures, which can be used in place of chemical fertilizers. A good compost pile will contain a variety of bacteria, fungi and other living matter that digest the organics with the production of heat.
- Mycelium
Mushrooms are the fruiting body and reproductive structure of a large network that operates underground in symbiosis with the roots of trees and vegetative plants. We are beginning to tap the tip of the iceberg in regard to this natural resource.
- Alternative Energy
Put the plug in the wall and electricity comes out. Where does the electricity come from? The wall. In reality, it comes from burning coal, oil and other fossil fuels or from nuclear emissions. Neither of these methods has a sustainable future.
- Solar
The plant kingdom has made use of photosynthesis to collect the energy required for growth. Currently, people are working on photovoltaic panels that convert sunlight into battery storage for producing electrical energy.
- Micro-Hydro
Flowing water contains lots of energy – by constructing dams on rivers, man has been able to harness the power for electric generation. This concept can be applied on a small scale with water wheels and squirrel cages to meet the needs of a small community.
- Geo-thermal
The core of the earth is hot – hot enough that the iron core is melted and flowing. In areas where there is a difference in the ground temperature, energy can be generated. There are also ground-based hot springs that can be enjoyed by all.
- Tesla Energy
At the turn of the 19th century, Tesla experimented with metal coils and a rod buried in various configurations that were able to generate substantial amounts of energy. Research was discontinued due to interference from commercial concerns, but the reality is that there is much substance to be gained by exploring this alternative
- Liberty Lessons
The sovereign’s philosophy is based on each person taking care of his or her own space of love. To be independent from current government requires an understanding of the responsibility of the individual. These lessons will focus on building ties between independent people that bring together a variety of viewpoints – the structure developed will be of mutual benefit for all the participants without requiring group think.
- Sacred Geometry
Sacred geometry is the mathematics of nature. The balance between chaos and order was well understood by the designers of the pyramids and other natural systems. This area provides insight on the connections between man and nature.
- Activities
Activities provide hands-on experience for using the tools and theories of sovereign practice. Each activity is designed to impart skills to the participants, to evaluate their performance and to provide feedback, food and entertainment, as rewards for the participatory effort.
- POD Workshops
The POD workshop will consist of opening the box and constructing the project found with-in. Each project will be aligned with one or more of the concepts described previously. The details of that concept will be provided through the film studio – available through community involvement and the networking derived from participation.
- Production
The production will be the assembly of the materials into functional form and the use of such materials to create a unit that provides the community with some form of matter or energy. Each POD will have a unit ready to assemble and this should be duplicable after the participants have participated in the production event.
- Operations
The operations will create materials for use in the community, or for trade between different communities. The POD will include ideas about the products that can be created, but will leave the specifications to the participants. In other words, if the POD is seed based – what to grow is a community decision rather than being preset by the sovereigns.
- Distribution
Individuals participating in the community receive a share of the proceeds from POD production and operations. Having people with skills that complement each other within the community means that some of the participants may not play a role in every endeavor. Equitable distribution is part and parcel to building effective community.
- Film Studio
In order to limit the duplication of effort, the curriculum will be presented in several forms that are available to members of the sovereigns for personal use in building community.
- Pod-Cast – You Tube - Blog
Discussions, classes and lectures will be posted prior to the announced workshop, such that participants can have access to the material presentation prior to working on the project.
- Community Radio
The community radio provides access to programming that can include live and recorded discussions about the techniques and philosophies of intentional community. This will be part of the feedback loop and also be available to introduce ideas and recruit people from outside of our communities.
- EQ-TV
EQ-TV was a web-based information dispersal system run through the Mobius in downtown Ashland, Oregon. Currently involved in raising funds through the sale of original music by top artists, EQ-TV will film the workshops and discussions and provide technical support in several forms to participants interested in teaching and learning about the current paradigm change.
- Networking
Participants will be able to network with each other directly through the Existence Game system. We wish to evolve as stewards of a living earth – to remediate the damages caused by contemporary lifestyles of massive over-consumption and disregard for natural process.
- Sovereign Game - Existence
The 8 levels described for the Existence are based on the Grid of 64 concepts derived from applied sacred geometry. Each participant will place his or her hour card onto the game grid with current level based on demonstrated ability.
- Hour Cards
Hour cards describe the skills acquired through participation in the Sovereign Game. These cards form a system of information exchange that allows participants to share pertinent information about skill sets, numerology and intrinsic knowledge with other participants. Hour cards will be updated after each workshop.
- Barter Exchange
The exchange rate is a function of player level, which in turn is a measure of skills developed through the system. As players change level, they will be qualified to teach some aspects as they learn others, thereby enhancing the development of all members of the intentional community of sovereigns.
- Community Energy Bank
All manners of exchange are included in the community exchange bank, including in-kind donations, hour cards, elements, currencies and other tangible materials. The bank would serve as a source for micro-loans to jumpstart community based businesses, with profits recycled back into the community.
- Conclusions
Realize that time in the current paradigm is extremely limited. Earth changes are happening that will not allow people to survive in the duality paradigm – the war mentally strikes at the heart of community and isolates people by dividing them into interest groups.
We bring ourselves together in unity based on peace and love. The concepts and activities using the mechanism of the PODs give a realistic approach to species survival. Learning to grow our own support system that includes mechanisms to teach multiple variants of how to accomplish tasks is necessary in the preparation of intentional community. This curriculum is a basic outline of one approach – there are many others to be considered in addition.
