a bright day a bright day

What is community?  Who is doing what?  Organization?  Specify roles – who has responsibility and what are the specific benefits and liabilities that come from holding that position.

Am I personally through with Ashland?  If I move up to the Umpqua, will I ever return back here or to the newly developing homestead?  The buy-in appears too great, considering the amount of junk that seems to be following each of us – holding us back in our system place.  There is no group discussion yet; just individuals manifesting their own theories of the way it ought to be, spinning out in different directions.

Who holds space?  How do we relate to time, when it speeds up to the point where days just become a blur?  What do we want to do and where does the I fit in?  Ego manifestation will lead to failure – each cooperative needs to respect individual space and set criteria for measurement.  Participation is on our own terms – the cohesive agreements between people cannot be compelled.  Developing consensus appears to be a valid goal, but how do we define who has say?

Back to measurement – how do we measure?  Most of the time, we count.  The number of folks participating means something significant, no matter how much effort gets put forth.  But effort is measured in a variety of terms.  We want our measurement to be focused such that we can determine the patterns of the things we measure.

No amount of planning will take us through a situation of unknown dimension.  We assume we will have to eat, so we plan to grow food.  How can we identify valid food sources from the plants that are already growing here?  The forests miss our presence – I feel a call to observe and listen to nature first-hand.  My words have substance – perhaps as you read this, you can help me by manifesting a publishing entity.  It would be a quantum jump, but…   How can we transact the business of publishing without being dependent on the current business model?

Do the Ben Franklin on everything.  Take out a blank sheet of paper and draw a vertical line through the center.  Place a plus at the top of the left hand column and a minus at the top of the right hand column.  Now be creative and allow the process to begin.  Have different people run this process separately on the same topics, and then build the results of the common efforts to address the manner by which we carry ourselves.  The goal here would be to categorize the grid of 64.

Place one person, then build the sphere around that individual dependent on ‘like mindedness’. Locate a different group for each topic category, independent of other resolutions.  Work with one individual at a time, but continually add to the body of the whole.

As we place these persons into our grid, each grid square represents a thought pattern.  It is a collection of assumptions that form a cohesive agreement, where these people share common world-view and have common goals/results.  There is a need to look at action and reaction, moving to define different modes of thought, rather than the current clusterfuck groupthink that has us all dependent on the false banking and political systems.

So to start – I am a community of one – I accept me into my community.  This is the first agreement that we make, with ourselves.  You have to live with yourself anyway you cut it, so this should not be a hard agreement to make at the opening level of this new game.

I am a member of the community of all – I accept that I am part of a larger biologic entity.  This is a bit bigger baby step.  It does not define the term all, except to set the basis in terms of biology.  This is life.  This also opens up some new ways to think about Gaia, the earth.  If you don’t wish to be part of the whole, then I am not sure that you fit into my community, but I cannot deny your existence and the right to think how you wish.

What is emergence?  How does thought actually manifest itself into reality?  If we are telepathic, how can we formally renew our relationships and communications with nature?  An example - is today’s wet rain radioactive?  What are the mechanisms of dispersal of radioactivity through the biosphere?  What are the simple decontamination mechanisms that we can use?  How can we evaluate a real threat from the massive media silence/scare tactics?  Can we evaluate real information?  What are our sources?  How reliable are these sources?  What is the basis of their information?  Who is our resident expert in this field?

Why is healing restricted to the medical professions only?  Is this right?  The state requires licenses to protect established parameters – do we the people actually benefit from our addictions?  What about diet?  The best means of nutritional intake is in food – the nutrients are made bio-available to our bodies in a readily acceptable form.  But our current food system is broken beyond repair because it requires large additions of petroleum based fertilizers and massive amounts of NPK to enhance growth.  Meanwhile, the monoculture conditions deplete the soil of necessary micro-nutrients.

Biology can substitute the ‘wrong’ element into an enzyme to keep things going when the ‘right’ element is unavailable.  This is less efficient, but it still manages to get the job done.  Nature’s built in redundancy allows a variety of mechanisms to handle different physical events.

The current political system is a one-size-fits-all corporate kleptocracy.  Everything needs to be ready at the right moment and the supply lines were just broken up by natural disasters in Japan.  (Well, if you can call them natural – there are HARRP questions and the wisdom of nuclear power plants on earthquake fault lines.)  Everything is precipiced to fail – what are our back-up systems?

What do we absolutely need?  Clean air and clean water are a good start, don’tcha think?   Who owns these and how are they regulated?  Once again, who has say here?  The political system favors those who have purchased their access to the system and the people who have the time to keep showing up.  Be there consciously and you can focus on solving any issue that you choose to address.

At what scale shall we choose to work?  How do we define scale in human terms?  Where is the middle ground?  Is the muddle in the middle more productive than lurking howdtside the edges and solving problems beyond the parameters from whence they were created?

I guess we’ll have to wait for the next essay to answer the question of scale.

Emile’s Song

Growing youth rapidly become young adults

What brings them of age at once? – Birth –

A new flow of responsibility carrying children

Ages pass, each with the same entry; a new dawn

The days accumulate exchange of souls with souls

New small beings populate all nooks and crannies
