Become a University Affiliate member!
We encourage your school to become a member of the National Council for Science and the Environment’s (NCSE) University Affiliate Program for 2008-2009.
Our universities are taking the lead in preparing a new generation of environmental professionals, leaders, and educated graduates. NCSE works to enhance the strength and effectiveness of environmental programs and serves as a significant voice at the national level in promoting funding for environmental research and education. A new administration provides a valuable opportunity for increased focus on the contributions that universities make in developing solutions to pressing environmental challenges.
NCSE provides valuable benefits and services to our faculty and students. We recently established several innovative projects of particular interest to affiliate universities and colleges. The EnvironMentors National College Access Program connects underserved high school students with higher education institutions. A new Campus to Careers Program provides students with opportunities for paid environmentally related
internships at federal agencies.
