• EnvironMentors offers a valuable recruitment mechanism to increase enrollment and diversity of environmental, natural resources, and other science degree programs.
• The program equips universities with a proven approach to raise the interest level and preparedness of diverse high school students for science and environmentally-related college degree programs.
• New partnerships with local businesses, agencies, and community groups that become involved through students, mentors, internships, scholarships, local and national EnvironMentors Fairs, and more.

Partnership with the National EnvironMentors Program

Support from the National EnvironMentors Office includes:

• Training and materials
• Assistance coordinating with local high schools and developing partnerships with local businesses and agencies
• Scholarships for College Summit or Upward Bound for participating high school students
• Resources to secure Chapter funding
• Technical and administrative assistance through annual meetings and regular chapter coordinator conference calls
