Dickinson College is located in Carlisle, a historic town in south central Pennsylvania. It is part of the metropolitan region of Harrisburg, the state capital, and is conveniently located near major routes including I-81, the PA Turnpike (76), and Routes 11/15. The campus is 104 acres, including an 86-acre main campus a few blocks from the center of town, with an additional180 acre working farm 7 miles from campus.
