This week we are looking at just the external forcing factors: These include the varying types of orbital change and sunspots. Why can we eliminate external forcing factors as the cause of our current global warming?

The key to this answer is the rate of change that we see from these forcing factors. We know the time period associated with Milankovitch cycles and other natural forcing factors. We know the current rate of warming. Most people are influenced by the debate we see in the media. There is a flaw in this explanation or that. Responses to this question tried to rule out other forcing factors out of hand based on who said what rather than applying the logic needed to come to the conclusion that the rates of change dont add up.
