Models are forecasting tools that are refined over time to predict future consequences of climate change. Models cannot be used as proof, they are only used for future projections. The models that the IPCC have published show different consequences based on different scenarios established by assumptions on population, technology, and international policy (pg 85). Which scenario do you think is most likely to happen and why? There is no right answer to this question, but it can lead to valuable conversations with regards to the policy and the social science side of the questions. Please respect each other’s answers, but keep the discussion going as you respond to each other’s answers.
